Great food, friendly staff, and a nice view of the dock! In the evening, watch the huge fish pop up to the surface to eat the scraps!

La Jibara Pizzeria Creativa

A few guys under a tent at the ferry port making some of the best sourdough pies in Puerto Rico, using local ingredients including mozzarella made from the cows of Culebra. They usually around 7pm. Call ahead to order by phone, or order in person and walk around town while you wait. Pay with cash or ATH Móvil.

Blac Flamingo

Just down the street from Casa Mañana, Blac Flamingo is a coffee shop and breakfast spot run by a super passionate and friendly team, sourcing coffee from all over the world and served up right here in Culebra.
What’s Good: Iced lattes, strawberry limeade, breakfast tacos, french toast.
Zaco’s Tacos

What’s Good: Bushwackers, Bacon Hushpuppies (when they have em), burritos.

Harspoon’s

Harspoons serves up a wide selection of dishes from Caribbean Lobster to Fried Pork. Don’t sleep on the appetizers! You can call ahead to make a reservation.
What’s Good: Catch of the day, octopus tentacle, churrasco, chicken.
La Cocina del Navigante

A breezy waterfront restaurant with seafood, sushi, meats, pastas, and Puerto Rican dishes. A great spot to spend an evening, but they can get busy so don’t wait too long to go!

Susie’s

Excellent seafood and a great ambiance, Susie’s has a ton to offer. Chilean Seabass, Tuna, and Shrimp Tempura are among the best, but it’s all fantastic!

The best pastelillos (Puerto Rican Hot Pockets) on the island! From pulpo (octopus) to pollo (chicken) they’ve got tons of options. Can be a little hard to pin down their hours, but it’s hard to miss- it’s the only thing on the road to Flamenco- and it’s well worth catching it once on your trip.
What’s Good: Churrasco Pastelillos + Tostones + a TON of Mayo Ketchup!
